Interview with the Ministry of Health a disaster or a teachable moment

 

On, November 2nd Wednesday 10am I had an interview meeting with Latishar Ramchan (Secretary) and Dr. Roshan Parasram of the Ministry of Health. This meeting was to get some answers for my thesis which is to find out if the Ministry has any digital resources for NCDs? My proposal was to implement a digital dashboard for NCDs for the public from a credible source. As before information from sources that are not credible can damage a community for example gossip and misinformation spread for covid-19. 

In summary, the meeting was a disaster for me as I did not get the information I set forth to get, and I felt I was unprepared. I may have had to do some research before entering this meeting in terms of the background and get some answers to my questions from research, so I could have entered into this meeting with it more fruitful.

So, in the future, I know how to better prepare for meeting events like these.
